Andrea Vitali
Andrea Giovanni Vitali was born in Trastevere, in the heart of Rome, but his father is from Milan and his mother is from Philadelphia. He spent most of his childhood travelling around with his parents and seven brothers and sisters, following his parents' missionary endeavours. When he was twelve, he was given his first bike, and it's been hard to get him off one ever since. He developed early on a love for nature, mountains, rustic italian food, italian history and architecture, the beauty of language, and helping people. He's lived all over Italy (from Sicily to Verona) and loves connecting with people and helping them discover the richness and treasures of his country. He currently lives in Tuscany, in a little town between Pisa and Volterra, where time passes slowly and people still gather outside their houses in the cool summer evenings to play cards, tell stories and share a glass of wine.
When not guiding for DuVine, he spends his time biking up Tuscan hills, reading a good book, playing his guitar, designing websites, and serving as a volunteer EMT, clowncare doctor, life coach, and counselor.
