Andro Tartaglia

Andro Tartaglia was born in Split, Croatia on  May 1st , 1981. Until the age of 16, Andro was playing tennis professionally every day, but he gradually began to sneak out and spend more and more time on his mountain bike. This was the first time he felt thrills of a true downhill...

It was during his study of Economics at the University in Zagreb that he started to see differences in the lifestyles of people and their way of thinking - and of course the differences between true Mediteranean food and  Continental cuisine. This curiousity developed even more when he started working in Austria in the winters as a ski instructor. 

Although always ready to travel to any part of the world,  Andro loves to come back to Croatia (actually Dalmatia - which is the coastal area of Croatia) and enjoy its beauties. When not in the office, he is either windsurfing or leading bike trips around the Dalmatian Coast and trying to represent his homeland in the best way possible!
