Ken Whelpdale
Ken was born June 09, 1968 in Toronto, Canada. His first bike was given to him on his 4th birthday. He has worked full-time as a pro race mechanic, travelling all over the world, for such road teams as Saturn Cycling, the German and USA National Teams, and the Gerolsteiner Professional Cycling Team. He has worked at the Tour de France, Paris Roubaix, the 2004 Athens Olympic Games and numerous other international competitions. As a Team Director, he managed more than 24 World Championships in events such as CX, BMX, MTB and Road World Championships. He also led the USA Cycling Team at the 2007 Pan American Games in Brazil and the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. He has had the opportunity to serve and help 1000’s of athletes to realize their athletic goals and he has keen eye for detail and excellence which he hopes to share with DuVine clients!
