Bordeaux Bike Tour Rating

The DuVine Bordeaux bicycle trip is rated Easy to Moderate. The bike trip starts with the rolling hills of the Entre Deux Mers regions and becomes relatively flat towards the end of the week into the vineyards in St Emilion & the Medoc. There are a few hills—but the climbs are quite short. In Bordeaux, the majority of the cycling will be on small roads alongside the Dordogne river and passing Grand Cru Classé vineyards and prestigious Chateaux (Petrus, Lafite, Margaux). Distances range from 17 to 33 miles with options every day. The last day of the tour is the longest of the week but bikers can choose to start biking at later points on the route to shorten the ride.
