This cycling vacation consists of old world scenery with a variety of landscapes from forests to moderate hills in the Czech Republic and flatter stretches in Austria. The itinerary provides you with everything from virtually flat and hassle-free to gently rolling riding in the Czech Republic with the occasional unpaved dirt road, followed by flat and slightly rolling riding in Austria through the vineyards. The majority of the cycling will be on small vineyard roads with occasional light traffic, crossing the iron-curtain and passing through romantic villages. Daily cycling distances range from 21 to 37 miles per day, with options for more riding.
