The DuVine Food Experience
Like everything else we do on our bike tours, meals are unique and authentic. Our mission is to make your dining experience pure pleasure after a day of cycling. We believe the best way to experience the cuisine of a region is by sampling a combination of elegant restaurants and hip bistros - some are world famous - and others the local best kept secret.
From a Michelin-starred 14th century cellar where the sommelier takes you to see his private wine collection, to a local bistro where you can smell the passion of cuisine and are greeted like family, each dining experience will be memorable.
You will be welcomed with open arms and invited into Dania's kitchen at la Chuisa, a Michelin star restaurant at your villa in Tuscany; treated like family as we stop for an impromptu lunch at Gianni and Mina house in the woods of the Langhe hills; you can join your guides at the local hangout, Chez Brun in Provence for some of Collette and Bruno's 'reinvented' pizza; and feel like a local at Konoba, a family-owned restaurant on the island of Hvar, where you will taste your host's own wine and eat gregada (fish stew), the island’s specialty made daily with the local catch of the day.
And that's just for dinner! Generous breakfasts are prepared daily and your guides will provide gourmet picnic lunches along the way, using the freshest local ingredients and featuring regional wines (not to mention supply snacks for those indispensible energy boosts). And you needn't worry about a thing, as DuVine offers delicious options for all dietary requirements.
