Israel Bike Tour Rating

The DuVine Adventures Israel bike trip is ideal for the Weekend Rider. The tour starts with some fairly flat roads on a scenic tour of Tel Aviv and continues along the coast to the ancient port of Jaffa. The cycling starts to become more challenging as you head into the Carmel Forest where you will encounter some longer climbs ranging from 5K to 15km of consistent climbing. The roads are mostly paved, however, after your descent into Binyamina, you will be taking back roads with a short section on dirt as you pass through the vineyards and farms in this area know as the "Tuscany of Israel." You will encounter some other flat streches as you head toward Caesarea, cycling into the ancient Roman city located at one of the most beautiful beaches in the Mediterranean. As you head into the Golan, you will again encounter some more challenging rolling hills as you ride along the border, overlooking some extinguished volcanoes. The majority of cycling will be on back roads with relatively no traffic - especially on our Saturday ride through the empty streets of Jerusalem. Daily cycling distances range between 20km - 60km per day. Everyone can do Israel, but there will be some challenging climbs - but remember that our DuVine support vehicle and guides will be around to assist you at all times.
