The park and surrounding wood are an ideal place of stay to discover in this soft France the castles of Chambord, Blois, Amboise and Touraine.  Its personalized and elegant rooms, with view on the park, the swimming pool or the Rennaissance court.  Rooms overlook the park, the swimming pool or the 15th-century courtyard. Rooms and apartments comfortable and functional are furnished in the XIXth century style. The bathrooms are decorated with mosaics to the effigy of the characters of the French history that marked the history of this place.  Set in the midst of pleasant countryside, Chissay resembles one of the chateaux that decorate the Book of Hours of the Duke of Berry.  The table and the wines are of regional inspiration

Le Manoir Saint Thomas

Le Manoir Saint Thomas offers luxurious bedrooms, very comfortable, each one different and all beautifully decorated.  The private Chateau was formerly a 12th century Priory, founded by Hugh 1st, the Lord of Amboise.
The house has many old fireplaces in wood, stone and marble. In the old priory all the windows have stained glass and there are winged dragons on the gables. The 15th century turret is in the North-East corner of the Manor and on the ceiling of the drawing room you can see the signature of one of the painters of 1887 – “RIPAULT”. Le Manoir Saint Thomas stands in a garden of about 2,000 square metres at the heart of the town of Amboise. Relax in the shade of our silver-leaved, hundred year old lime trees and admire the statue of “Meditation”, dating from about 1800, which stands in the middle of the garden.
