DUVINE ADVENTURES PROJECTS RECORD-BREAKING SEASON
Luxury Bike Tour Operator Adds Destinations and Increases Passenger Count

BOSTON – The new cycling travel season is well underway and all signs point to a record-breaking season for DuVine Adventures despite reports of reduced numbers of travelers worldwide. While many companies are scaling back their offerings, DuVine Adventures is launching more than 17 deluxe bicycling tours across 10 countries, including destinations in Italy, Spain, France, Switzerland, Ireland, Eastern Europe, South America, Canada and the United States. And, during this, their 14th season, DuVine is sending guests out to explore the countryside on brand-new bikes.

DuVine Adventures offers tours that pair easy, moderate and challenging cycling tours with fabulous culinary experiences including winery dinners and chateaux picnics. The company also specializes in designing tours for special events, delivering custom trips, multi-sport adventures, yoga/bike adventures, family travel, solo travel and self-guided tours. Each tour is specifically designed to maintain a sense of balance between adventure and luxury – immersing each traveler in the local culture while providing luxurious accommodations, good food and fine wines. On average, more than 25 percent of DuVine’s travelers are repeat customers.

“The success of DuVine and the loyalty of our travelers have been immensely gratifying,” says founder Andy Levine. “I get to share the things and places I love most with hundreds of people each year. And when I see return guests each year, I feel we are creating more than a company, but a community.”

For 2009, DuVine has secured a fleet of new bikes so travelers will enjoy their rides with increased comfort and performance – whether they choose a tour with easy, moderate or challenging courses. Additionally, the company has added some new fantastic guides and our partners in each destination are thrilled to see increased bookings in hotel, restaurant and other tour amenities.
