Napa Valley & Sonoma Bike Tour Rating

Moderate Riding

The DuVine Adventures Napa & Sonoma bicycle trip is rated Moderate. The bike tour consists of coastal riding along the pacific coastline of Bodega Bay, with some rolling hills up and flat stretches on quiet country roads through vineyards and beautiful rural countryside.. In Sonoma, the majority of the cycling will be on quiet country roads passing by well known Zinfandel vineyards such as Ferrari-Carano. In Napa you’ll be passing towns such as Calistoga, St Helena and well known wineries such as Mondavi’s Opus One and Sterling Vineyards. Daily cycling distances range from 18 to 38 miles per day, with options for more riding. Napa & Sonoma offer stunning scenery and of course your local DuVine guides will be there to assist you at all times

Easy

Cycling on relatively flat roads with a few manageable hills. Expect to gain anywhere from 0–500 feet of elevation.

Moderate

Cycling on relatively flat to gently rolling roads. Expect to gain anywhere from 500–1000 feet of elevation.

Challenging

Cycling on rolling terrain and hillier terrain. Expect to gain anywhere from 500–2500 feet of elevation. The routes are designed for avid cyclists and include plenty of chances to challenge yourself.
