“I have traveled extensively in Italy, and speak Italian, and yet was surprised and delighted at every turn bicycling in Piedmont with DuVine. The local guides made it an authentic and intimate experience, where we ate fabulous meals at private estates that tourists would never find, feeling like close friends of the cooks. I learned an incredible amount about the exceptional Piedmont wine and cuisine--even learning to make some traditional dishes with Guido's mother!--and was glad to cycle enough hills to be hungry for another picnic on the terrace of a 16th century villa, overlooking rolling vineyards. The expert cyclist guides inspired me to go home and train for another trip. It was wonderful--and far exceeded my expectations. I can't say enough good things about Guido and Giovanni, as well as the hotels and meals, and was sorry to say good-bye to everyone.”
