“I run out of adjectives whenever I talk about the Piedmont trip. From start to finish it was thoroughly enjoyable. The guides really went the extra mile. The choice of restaurants, the menus, and the wine pairing were all fantastic. I felt that I really was getting an authentic and complete sampling of the regional cuisine.”
Piedmont Bike Tour Rating
Moderate to Challenging Riding
The majority of the cycling is on sparsely trafficked roads past vineyards and hazelnut forests with spectacular scenery, luscious wines and unforgettable cuisine. Ride through famous wine-producing villages like Barolo and La Morra, and traverse rolling vine-clad hills with panoramas shrouded in a romantic haze. The Piedmont tour provides stunning vistas overlooking the Roero valley and the Langhe region. Daily distances have some hills, and the cycling distances range from 19 to 31 miles per day, with options for more riding. Be aware that Piedmont can be hilly. Of course your DuVine van/guides will be there to assist you at all times.
