Portugal Bike Tour Rating

The Portugal bike trip is ideal for the Weekend Rider.  The week begins out east near the Spanish border where the roads are very quiet and rolling around the lakes that separate Portugal from Spain.  The hilltop towns make for spectacular views but do get the heart pumping a bit.  The climbs sparse and are never very long averaging 0.5-2 miles in length.  Heading out to Evora the road begins to even out but is always undulating.   The daily routes average 55 kms/34 miles per day with extra ride options to choose from.
