Amanda was born and lived in California as a young child and remembers moving cross country with her family back to Massachusetts where she was raised in the South Shore.

She went to UMass Amherst, fell in love with the Happy Valley and visits the area from time to time. She has a degree in Anthropology with a focus on Archaeology and is a sucker for the History Channel and Nat Geo Channel.

She absolutely loves live music of all genres and loves discovering new music. One of her favorite past times is going on a 10 day road trip with friends down to a music festival in Tennessee.

Amanda enjoys visiting local New England vineyards and breweries. Her favorite red wine is Cabernet Sauvignon and favorite white wine is a Sauvignon Blanc - Marlborough. She loves a good book paired with a great glass of wine.

Amanda strives to maintain a healthy lifestyle by keeping fit and eating as many fresh foods as possible, but admits, "I am also a sucker for chocolate and cheese and bread". She is an avid runner.

While the extent of her European travel having visited Ireland twice, she's always had a travel itch and is  thoroughly looking forward to my trip to Italy with my boyfriend in September. Some places on her list to visit are France, England, and Greece.

She loves trying new foods, meeting new people and being introduced to new cultures, and will try anything at least once!
