DuVine Adventures has become one of the leading bike tour
operators, offering unique and personalized cycling tours in France,
Italy, Ireland,
Spain, Switzerland, California, New Zealand, Chile/Argentina.
Currently with over 10 different bike trips in 8 separate countries,
DuVine always strives to provide innovative enhancements for our
guests, making the art of leisurely bicycle trips even more rewarding
and memorable. We have the most consumer friendly payment terms in the industry.
To reserve your trip, we require a deposit of
$500 per person. The balance of your payment is due 90 days prior
to departure. Payments must be in U.S. dollars, and can be made
by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or check. A single supplement
will be charged to each traveler (traveling solo) who wants a
private room throughout a trip. We must receive your signed reservation
form and deposit to confirm your reservation. Once received, we
send you a confirmation including details about your trip, and
a cancellation/travel insurance application.
TRIP INSURANCE
We strongly recommend the purchase of Quality Protection Worldwide Insurance that has been included for purchase on your invoice. This is a primary insurance policy which safeguards you and your traveling companion in the event of any losses due to illness, accident, or delays as covered in the explanation of benefits(EOB). With the best intentions in place and all cyclists in particularly good health, it is hard to imagine that something could occur that may prevent you from traveling on your desired trip. However it happens, and when it does the disappointment of not being able to travel is only outweighed by the significant financial loss that will occur if you are unable to travel or become injured on tour. For a fraction of the cost of your trip you can protect yourself from this scenario. To purchase and take advantage of the pre-existing condition waiver, please contact our office within the next ten (10) days and we will secure the insurance on your behalf and provide the coverage policy. You may indicate your desire to purchase or decline the insurance on our reservation form.
WHY DUVINE’S TRIP INSURANCE?
Our customized Quality Protection Worldwide Insurance offers the following benefits:
· Primary Coverage – You not need exhaust or file a claim with your primary health care provider prior to receiving benefits from the plan.
· Less Expensive – The customized plan costs less than if you were to purchase it on your own, without the loss of quality or important benefits.
· Convenient – No application required! Simply accept the purchase of insurance already provided on your invoice, and using the information from your reservation form, we will secure your coverage.
Please read the explanation of benefits (EOB) provided in your Reservation documents to review the coverage of this plan.

PREPARING FOR YOUR TRIP
We count on our travelers to be healthy and fit; to read our pre-trip
materials about clothing, medical requirements, and culture-specific
etiquette; to understand that a road less traveled means a more
unpredictable, and more rewarding, adventure. DuVine Adventures
trips have risks and rewards. Some trips are physically demanding
and visit areas where medical facilities may be virtually nonexistent
and evacuation difficult.
SWITCHING TRIPS
If space is available, we can transfer your deposit to
another tour, providing you contact us at least 100 days prior
to your original departure date. Transfers must be applied to
a tour departing to the same region and in the same calendar year.
Transfers between 100 and 80 days incur a $100 per person administrative
fee. Transfers are not accepted for any tour departing in less
than 80 days.
Guests are responsible for: choosing a trip that suits their
abilities, level of fitness, and state of health; respecting the
laws and customs of countries visited; following environmental
guidelines and regulations while on the trip in accordance with

trip members. An individual may be asked to leave a trip if the
leader feels that the person's continuing participation may prove
detrimental to the individual or to the well-being or enjoyment
of other guests.
CHANGES
Due to circumstances beyond our control, DuVine Adventures may
have to make partial changes to the stated itinerary. Every effort
is made to keep changes to a minimum, and our high quality is
always maintained. We reserve the right to cancel any tour that
does not reach the minimum level of participation. In the unlikely
event that we cancel a tour, you will receive a full refund. DuVine
will not reimburse for any personal expenses due to changes in
itineraries or tour cancellations, such as prepaid hotel expenses
or airline tickets. DuVine reserves the right to decline a reservation
or to refuses service during a tour to anyone whose health or
behavior could impede the welfare or enjoyment of fellow guests.

Travel within a group invariably involves a compromise to accommodate
diverse desires, travel goals, personalities, and physical abilities
of all group members. DuVine Adventures guides may be required
to improvise and exercise good faith, use discretion and/or make
decisions based upon group consensus. These decisions may not
always please each individual, but are intended to satisfy the
larger desires of the group.
RESPONSIBILITY
DuVine Adventures will not assume responsibility for any overseas
company or person who fails to provide services that have been
contracted for any of its 2008/09 tours. (In the case of such an
event, alternative services will be sought.) In rare instances,
we may ask a traveler to switch to another trip from one that
has logistical problems or too few participants; we will attempt
to notify you 35 days before the departure date.
