Tour by Day

Day One: Welcome to Brittany
Your guides will greet you at the Quimper train station and shuttle you towards the coastline to the sleepy yet charming town of Pont Aven, a haven for artists that is known to have attracted and inspired artists such as Paul Gaugin and Emile Bernard. Celebrate our arrival with a toast of the region’s best cider while enjoying a traditional crêpe at our favorite crêperie. After a quick bike fitting and safety review, we’ll ride off through old villages that don’t seem to have changed in over a century. Dinner tonight is in the region’s best Bistro in the town of Pont Aven.

Meals: Light Lunch / Dinner
Destinations: Quimper, Pont Aven, Port Manech, Kerascoet
Accomplished: 19 miles / 30 km

Day Two: The Rocky Coast of the Morbihan
Greet the day with a local delicacy: crêpes with salted caramel. We’ll leave the Bigouden region and cycle down the Morbihan’s charming southern coast. We’ll spin past sleepy, ancient fishing ports on our way to L’Armor Plage and then on to our next hotel. We’ll also enjoy a picnic at the Cistercian Abbeye de St Maurice on the Laïta River. Enjoy a gastronomic dinner with Michelin-starred chef Olivier Beurné in the hotel’s own restaurant.

Day Three: Off the Beaten Track of the Morbihan
Today, our ride will take us on a scenic loop to the Isle de St Cado and over to Port St Louis. When stopping to admire the 12th century chapel in St Cado, you will hear about the legend that cures the deaf by listening to the lapping waves. Continue on to Gavres, the local sardine capital and enjoy the ocean breeze on this easy spinning route. We’ll lunch in Port St Louis before heading back to the hotel to relax. Tonight, we visit the town of Hennebont for a traditional Bretagne meal.

Meals: Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner
Destinations: Kervignac, Belz, Isle St Cado, Gavres, Port Louis

Today’s ride is not to be forgotten. On our way back to the coast we’ll be cycling past megalithic sites like the Neolithic Carnac stones. The mix of bike paths and quiet roads allow you to take it all in with no distractions. Enjoy lunch in the town of Carnac with a platter of oysters and other fresh seafood harvested that day. Our afternoon ride will have us heading to the beautiful port town of Auray. A one hour transfer will bring us to La Baule where you are welcome to dine on your own in this chic Parisian getaway.

Our afternoon ride will bring us to La Baule, where you can opt to go shopping, relax on the beach, or enjoy a drink by the sea.
