You’ll never forget the sweeping vistas overlooking the Dolcetto and Moscato vineyards, your delectable lunch at Gianna and Mina’s “hidden” ristorante or the family welcome you received at Guido’s farmhouse. Tour by Day

Day One: Exploring Acqui Terme
Welcome to Piedmont! Your guides will meet you at the Voghera train station and sweep you off to Roma Imperiale where we’ll toast your arrival with a traditional spumante. After a bike fitting, safety talk, and map review, we’ll head off on our first ride cycling across the Bormida River. Climb into the vine-clad ridges before looping back to the ancient Roman city of Acqui Terme. Tonight we’ll shuttle into the countryside for an exclusive dinner at our friend Graziella’s winery, Villa Delfini, where she will delight us with homemade Piedmontese delicacies paired with one of her wines for each course.

Day Two: Cassine Loop
Cycling out of Acqui, we’ll ride north toward vine-covered ridges. Pass through Ricaldone and Cassine, cross the Borminda River, and arrive at the precariously perched village of Orsara Bormida. Continue on a short ride down to the historic castle of Morsasco, where we’ll stop for a picnic lunch. Following lunch, opt to cycle back to the hotel or add on some extra miles by riding along the ridge to the enchanting hilltop town of Cremolino. End the day with an intimate dinner at our friend Guido’s private restaurant, located in the family farmhouse amidst his vineyards above Acqui.

Stop for lunch at our friends, Gianna and Mina’s, ristorante before arriving at the converted monastery of San Maurizio, a luxurious Relais & Château property.
