Remarkable beauty is just the beginning on this bicycle trip in Majorca. Cycle on roads where dramatic cliffs drop off from both sides and offer sweeping views of the sea. Climb high into the Tramuntana mountain range. Visit the historic monastery and wander the steep, narrow streets of Valdemossa. Bask in the sunshine along the sparkling coast. You’ll be delighted by the unique whites, rosés, and reds from the island’s only AOCs, the quiet, traffic-free country roads, and your stay at the magnificent La Residencia. Day One: Welcome to Mallorca
Your guides will greet you at your hotel in Palma and we’re off to the charming town of Alaro. We’ll dive right into the island's best tapas and toast with some Spanish sparkling wine. After our lunch and bike fitting we’ll ride out through Mallorca’s viticultural region, passing the plentiful local vineyards and through towns like Mancor de la Val and Moscari. After cycling through Campanet we’ll arrive at the magnificent Hotel Son Brull. Enjoy its many spa treatments or relax in your room. Dinner tonight is at Son Brull’s famous 365 restaurant, featuring traditional specialties prepared by our friend Rafa.

Rocky cliffs drop off from either side of the road and offer sweeping views of the sea. If you’d rather relax, you can sprawl out on the beach of Formentor. We’ll all enjoy lunch in a spectacular restaurant overlooking the Mediterranean. Choose to cycle back to the hotel or hop in the van for a quick transfer. We’ll have a wonderful seafood dinner tonight in Pollenca with Luis at Sa Clivia.

Enjoy the Mediterranean breeze on your face and coast into picturesque Mallorcan villages. A 20-kilometer descent leads us to the Valley of Sóller. Visit the town’s imposing churches and modernist buildings and wander the narrow streets. We’ll enjoy lunch in one of the many authentic restaurants in town before riding or taking the van to Deia and our next hotel. Visit the old town and meet local artists. Arriving in Sóller, we’ll hop on our bikes and ride to Fornalutx, a village in the hillsides of Puig Major.
