Then we’ll hop on our bikes and head to the Pont du Gard aqueduct – one of the Roman’s grandest structures, built in 19 B.C. After this outstanding introduction to Provence, we’ll cycle back to the hotel, where tonight our chef will delight us with authentic Provençal fare.

Continue cycling to Collias, where we’ll trade our bikes for kayaks to paddle down the Gardon Gorges and pass under the Pont du Gard. Tonight we’ll play petanque (a local version of bocce) overlooking the Pont du Gard before dinner in Castillion du Gard with our friends Laurence and Mario in their fantastic restaurant, L’Amphytrion.
