Day One: Welcome to Aspen Colorado!
Your guides will greet you at the astounding Little Nell in Aspen. Meet Tim Johnson, the six-time national title winner, who will be riding with you throughout the tour! After a light lunch we will get you fitted on your Cannondale bike and we are ready to roll out. We’ll start with a climb up the 10 miles to Maroon Lake via Maroon Creek Road. The perfect ride for our first day in the mountains at a 3% average grade, showcasing vistas of Pyramid Peak as you wind your way to the top. Meet the team after our ride and spend some time with the riders. Tonight’s dinner is a festive affair as we dine at the Pyramid Café.

Tomorrow, the big day arrives as the Tour of Colorado sets out from Aspen to Snowmass Village. A starting elevation of 7,900 ft makes this one of the world’s most challenging opening days. After a decadent breakfast we’ll set out to test the 22-mile circuit before the pros race full speed the following day. Cycle the narrow but beautiful Maroon Creek Bridge, then we’ll grind up to Snowmass Village. No visit to Aspen is complete without riding up Independence Pass, so we’ll ride this famous climb before we head back to Aspen. This afternoon we’re invited to an exclusive VIP event with team Cannondale as the riders are introduced at the Team Presentation. Tonight you’re free to explore the city of Aspen, the start of the US Pro Cycle Challenge in Colorado!

Day Three: It's Race Day!
The professionals will set out later in the day, which leaves us with a morning to fill with some of the greatest riding in North America. Today, we’ll cycle to Ruedi Reservoir via Basalt. From Basalt to the reservoir it’s a 14-mile false flat, perfect for stomping on those pedals and admiring the Colorado scenery. It’s an out and back race home to Aspen in time to catch the first stage of the USA Pro Cycling Challenge. We’ll have the best seats for all of the action as we enjoy a post-ride lunch in town and cheer for the Cannondale team. See how Peter Sagan launches at more than 38mph to battle it out in the sprint finale!
