“I want to express my extreme satisfaction and gratitude for the Tuscany trip I just left, guided by the professional and able professionals.
I have taken many guided bike trips, and by far the most accommodating, informative and professional guides and itinerary that I have ever experienced were with DuVine. The guides' unique blend of knowledge of the local culture and language, their cycling expertise, and their extreme hospitality combine to provide a very rich and rewarding experience.”
Tuscany Bike Tour Rating
Moderate to Challenging Riding
The DuVine Tuscany bicycle trip is rated Moderate and Challenging. The epic week of cycling consists of classic Tuscan scenery (cypress trees, hill top villages, olive groves) providing you with everything from rolling terrain around Pienza, followed by hillier riding in the Crete Senesi and countryside of Chianti. In Tuscany, the majority of the cycling will be on small roads with occasional light traffic while riding around the famous villages of Montepulciano and Montalcino. Daily rides have hills (we avoid steep climbs), and the cycling distances range from 19 to 31 miles per day, with options for more riding and more hills. Everyone can do Tuscany, but it is hilly, and of course your DuVine support vehicle and guides will be around to assist you at all times.
