Daily Yoga with Rebecca Pacheco
Begin each day with energizing yoga to prepare the mind and body for fun-filled days of biking and touring the beautiful vineyards. Stretches and exercises are designed to enhance the biking experience. The yoga sessions will also involve meditation and breathing exercises to ignite the spirit. We'll ease into our evenings with a gentle and meditative yoga session. The yoga is designed for people of all levels including beginners. Read more about our yoga leaders.

Style of Yoga
You'll enjoy invigorating classes that will uplift your soul and strengthen your body. The lessons are designed for people of all levels and experience. The yoga sessions will vary, we will combine flowing movement sequences (vinyasa) with slow sustained stretches to enhance the biking experience. Additionally, much emphasis is placed on breath work and mind/body awareness. Classes will vary, we will start the day with an energizing session and end the evening with a gentle meditative practice that involves stretching and relaxation.

DuVine Yoga Instructor: Rebecca Pacheco

Rebecca Pacheco is a yogi, wordsmith, and health nut, who enjoys sharing her wellness knowledge and creative insight with others. Previously a highly visible yoga teacher at the Baptiste Power Yoga Institute, Rebecca now works at Boston magazine, appears on camera for Boston.TV, and authors The World According to Om Gal for people who want to "live" their yoga and love their lives. The yoga and wellness blog with “soul, style, and smarts” is open and honest about yoga's growing popularity without overlooking its tradition. Above all, Rebecca wants to provide people (yogis and non yogis, alike!) with a healthful resource that's inspiring, engaging, well written, creative, and contemporary.  Rebecca has practiced yoga for more than 13 years and is adept at teaching students of all levels, from beginners to professional athletes to seasoned yogis.  

Rebecca is a regularly featured contributor on Intent.com, a recently launched Web site venture by Deepak Chopra, his daughter, Mallika, and son, Gotham.  She has appeared in national ad campaigns for Reebok, Ryka, and New Balance.  In addition to yoga, Rebecca enjoys running, rock-climbing, and knitting and is a fledgling golfer and snowboarder.   

All our yoga teachers are amazing people.  They treat our our guests with importance and genuine interest, we anticipate your every need and attend to every detail while being thorough and professional. Our yoga teachers are seasoned travelers.

Am I fit enough for the biking and yoga?
The bike tour is rated as intermediate-easy level trip. The average daily biking distance is 23miles or about 35-45km. This usually requires 3-5 hours of pedaling per day. The yoga is designed all levels of experience. Remember, yoga is non-competitive, so you go at your own pace.
