Marcus van Belle was born in Amsterdam and his career in the hotel industry led to a passion for hospitality, traveling and languages. He met his wife in Spain and subsequently moved to Madrid. His love of Spanish food and culture has taken him to all corners of the country.

She has always been intrigued by France, and truly fell in love with it after spending a semester in Paris during her junior year of college. She also works as a bicycle messenger with New York's first and only messenger collective.
