Pricing + Payment Details
To reserve a tour, DuVine requires a $750 per person deposit for scheduled departures, a non-refundable $1,000 per person deposit for Private tours, and a non-refundable $1,500 per person deposit for all Cycle + Sail and Race tours.
Once a deposit has been received, and your reservation has been confirmed and accepted by DuVine, we will send a final invoice. Final payment is required at 90 days prior to departure for scheduled and private tours, and 120 days prior for all Cycle + Sail and Race tours. For reservations made within the final payment period, final payment is due at time of booking.
If final payment is not received by 15 days past the final payment deadline, a late fee of $150 will apply. At 60 days prior to departure, your reservation is subject to cancellation.
Payment must be in USD, and can be made by debit or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover), personal check, or wire. We do not accept cash. A $50 service fee will be added to the each reservation if you choose to refund a payment and recharge a different credit card.
Prices on DuVine’s website and invoices are displayed in USD per person, are based on double occupancy, and include taxes. Each DuVine itinerary includes a variety of features and elements unique to that specific tour. Guests should consult the individual trip page on DuVine’s website for a list of inclusions and exclusions.
Guests who wish to have their own room will be charged a Single Supplement. This supplement varies depending on the tour and can be found on each individual tour page on our website.
The “Price From” listed on the website for scheduled and private tours refers to a specific tour, date, hotel lineup, and group size. Actual tour prices may differ from the price listed.
There is no price adjustment offered for arriving late or departing early from a tour, nor for tour participants who do not bike (“non-riders”).
A given price quote is valid for 10 days. After 10 days, quotes are subject to repricing. All prices and quotes are subject to verification by DuVine staff.
Cancellations + Trip Changes
The cancellation policies outlined below take into consideration the costs DuVine incurs long before travelers ever depart. DuVine strictly adheres to the following cancellation policies. Trip price is defined as everything purchased from DuVine as part of your tour, including upgrades, pre- and post-tour arrangements, and Single Supplement.
To avoid cancellation and trip change costs, please consider adding Travel Protection to your booking. The plan includes coverage for the cost of your airfare—even if it was not booked by us. Learn more about Travel Protection Plans.

COVID Policy for International Tours
For international departures, our standard cancellation policy is relaxed in situations where the borders are not open for North American travelers. In these cases, we will review the situation 65 days prior to departure to determine if feasible to run the tour. Should the tour be canceled due to border closing, all monies paid will be transferred to a Travel Credit towards a future tour.
All Travel Credits are non-transferable and non-refundable. Travel Credits cannot be used towards payment of a deposit. Travel Credits must be used within one calendar year of the original departure date or will be forfeited. Once a Travel Credit has been applied to a trip, it is considered non-refundable. Special rules apply for COVID-related Travel Credits. Please contact our office for details.
Changes for Scheduled Departures Initiated by Guest
Requests to change tour or date of an existing reservation will be accommodated based on availability. If this request is made inside of 90 days prior to departure, a minimum $250 per person late change fee will be applied. The guest is responsible for any additional cancellation fees incurred from hotels, etc. Additionally, the guest must pay any increase in tour price. Only one date change per reservation is permitted.
Changes for Private Tours Initiated by Guest
Requested changes to an existing Private tour reservation will be handled on a case-by-case basis. When DuVine is able to accommodate changes, a minimum $250 change fee per group will be applied. This fee is subject to increase with the magnitude of changes requested. The guest is responsible for any additional cancellation fees incurred from hotels, etc. Additionally, the guests must pay any increase in tour price caused by the change.

While DuVine takes care to recommend excellent and reliable external travel organizations, we do not guarantee services provided by these companies and are not liable for issues, or cancellations that may arise.
Children on Tour
To participate in a scheduled departure, travelers must be age 17 or older. Please note that minors must be accompanied by an adult. We are happy to work with you and your family to select the date and destination that will meet your specific needs. Additionally, children who wish to ride an e-bike must be 14 or older.

Non-U.S. citizens should contact the embassy or consulate of their destination countries to ensure they meet specific entry requirements. Visit the U.S. Department of State for further information.

In order to meet requests for bike selections, guests must submit their preference to DuVine no later than 30 days prior to departure. Requests submitted inside 30 days prior to departure will be subject to availability and may not be guaranteed. Changes to bike requests that are made inside 21 days prior to departure will be subject to a $75 late change fee.
Arrival and Departure Transfers
On all DuVine itineraries, you will find recommended times and locations for arrivals and departures. DuVine provides group transfers to and from the tour from the pick-up and drop-off locations stated on the itinerary. In the event your train, flight, or other travel falls outside the arrival or departure times or locations, you may be responsible for extra costs incurred in arranging a separate transfer.
