Pricing + Payment Details
To reserve a trip, DuVine requires a $750 per person deposit (including a minimum $200 non-refundable cancellation fee) for our scheduled departures and a non-refundable $1,000 per person deposit for our Private tours. Travel Credits cannot be used towards payment of the deposit.
Once a deposit has been received, and your reservation has been confirmed and accepted by DuVine, we will send a final invoice. The outstanding balance of the trip is due 90 days prior to the departure date. For reservations made within 90 days of the tour’s departure, final payment is due at time of booking.
If final payment is not received 75 days prior to departure, a late fee of $150 will apply. At 60 days prior to departure, your reservation is subject to cancellation.
Payment must be in USD, and can be made by debit or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover), personal check, or wire. We do not accept cash. A $50 service fee will be added to the each reservation if you choose to refund a payment and recharge a different credit card.
Prices on DuVine’s website and invoices are displayed in USD per person, are based on double occupancy, and include taxes. Guests who wish to have their own room will be charged a Single Supplement. This supplement varies depending on the tour and can be found on each individual tour page on our website.
The “Price From” listed on the website for scheduled and private tours refers to a specific tour, date, hotel lineup, and group size. Actual tour prices may differ from the price listed.
There is no price adjustment offered for arriving late or departing early from a tour, nor for tour participants who do not bike (“non-riders”).
A given price quote is valid for 10 days. After 10 days, quotes are subject to repricing. All prices and quotes are subject to verification by DuVine staff.
Cancellations + Trip Changes
The cancellation policies outlined below take into consideration the costs DuVine incurs long before travelers ever depart. DuVine strictly adheres to the following cancellation policies. Trip price is defined as everything purchased from DuVine as part of your tour, including upgrades and Single Supplement.
To avoid cancellation and trip change costs, please consider adding Travel Protection to your booking. The plan includes coverage for the cost of your airfare—even if it was not booked by us. Learn more about Travel Protection Plans.
If traveling on a Scheduled Departure and canceling outside of 61 days prior to departure, the cancellation fee (less a minimum $200 non-refundable fee) can be applied towards a future DuVine reservation as a Travel Credit. This Travel Credit is non-transferrable, non-refundable, and only valid for travel within one year of cancellation. Once a Travel Credit has been applied to a trip it is considered non-refundable.

DuVine Itinerary Changes + Cancellations
DuVine reserves the right to make date, route, activity, and hotel modifications to any tour. This includes the details of itineraries as they appear on DuVine.com. Every effort is made to keep changes to a minimum.
DuVine retains the right to cancel, modify, or delay any tour at any time for any reason. If DuVine cancels the tour, travelers will receive a DuVine Travel Credit for all monies paid.
DuVine is not responsible for any personal expenses incurred due to changes in itineraries or tour cancellations, such as prepaid hotel accommodations or airline tickets. We strongly recommend confirming your trip with DuVine before making any additional travel arrangements.
Travel Protection Plans safeguard your travel investment, your belongings, and most importantly, you. We always advise travelers to enroll in a Travel Protection Plan in the event you have to cancel or leave your trip. Please note that the plan is non-refundable.
For complete information, click here and follow the directions. In order to receive full benefits of certain plans, protection must be purchased within 21 days of initial tour deposit. To enroll in a plan, select “include the Travel Protection Plan” during check-out when purchasing your tour online or contact your Tour Coordinator.
Travel Documents + Services
At the request of guests, DuVine may recommend the services of other companies including hotels, transportation, restaurants, and other services outside the scope of our operations. While DuVine takes care to recommend excellent and reliable external travel organizations, we do not guarantee services provided by these companies and are not liable for issues, or cancellations that may arise.
Children on Tour
To participate in a scheduled departure, travelers must be age 17 or older. Please note that minors must be accompanied by an adult. Travelers under the age of 17 are welcome to participate in a Family or Private tour. We are happy to work with you and your family to select the date and destination that will meet your specific needs. Additionally, children who wish to ride an e-bike must be 14 or older.
Each guest must obtain a passport and any applicable visas for his or her tour prior to departure. If a guest is unable to obtain travel documents or is prohibited from entering the destination country, our standard cancellation policy will apply. Passports must be valid for at least six months after the tour ends. Non-U.S. citizens should contact the embassy or consulate of their destination countries to ensure they meet specific entry requirements. Visit the U.S. Department of State for further information.
For their tour, guests are asked to choose a hybrid, road, or mountain bike (in certain destinations). Electric bikes are available in most destinations for an additional fee. In order to meet requests for bike selections, guests must submit their preference to DuVine no later than 30 days prior to departure. Requests submitted inside 30 days prior to departure will be subject to availability and may not be not guaranteed. Changes to bike requests that are made inside 21 days prior to departure will be subject to a $75 late change fee.
Arrival and Departure Transfers
On all DuVine itineraries, you will find recommended times and locations for arrival and departure to and from your tour. DuVine provides group transfers to and from the tour, within reason and in accordance with the pick-up and drop-off recommendations. In the event your train, flight, or other travel falls outside the recommended departure or arrival time or location, you may be responsible for extra costs incurred in arranging a separate transfer.
Release of Liability + Miscellaneous
After submitting your deposit, you will receive a Traveler Profile to complete. This profile must be signed and returned to DuVine within 10 days of receipt in order to finalize your trip. The Traveler Profile enables DuVine to secure your bicycle, note dietary restrictions, and recognize any special requests you may have.
