When Abigail is not traveling, blogging about her travels, or encouraging others to get out there and explore, she is managing a story-sharing project she founded, training for her next half marathon, or practicing for an open mic night. Since her first trip on a Kentucky high school tour to Italy, France, and Spain, Abigail has been to over 20 countries and 4 continents. She studied Art History and English at Indiana University and couldn’t resist the opportunity to study abroad in the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance. After a semester abroad in Florence, she interned for an art museum in Denver, then moved to Boston where she landed in sales for the world leader in educational travel, specializing in Girl Scout trips abroad.

In 2019 Abigail returned from a six-month solo trip teaching English abroad in Southern Thailand and Central Vietnam, half of which was spent volunteering for a social enterprise that aids single mothers and their children through English classes and professional development. Next on her travel wish list is South Africa, Japan, and Chile, but as a “transplant” she also loves exploring New England!
