Alejandro was born in the northwest of Argentina, a beautiful part of the Andes range in South America. He discovered his passion for mountain biking as a teenager and competed in local races, eventually becoming the Regional Mountain Biking Champion.

After a year spent traveling around United States to learn about culture and advance his English language skills, Alejandro returned to his hometown in Argentina to pursue a degree in tourism and immediately began guiding. After a few years, Alejandro found the perfect way to marry his guiding and biking passions—combined with his specialized training in bicycle mechanics—and put his immense knowledge of Salta to work for DuVine. When he’s not guiding (and sometimes when he is!), he also enjoys mountain climbing and photography.
