Since his youth, Daniel has been fond of sports and activities that allow him to appreciate the spectacular natural resources of his home country, Costa Rica. It’s because of this that he has spent the last 17 years working in adventure tourism. In 1993, he graduated with a degree in Hotel Management and Food and Beverage studies. He’s certified in CPR as well as water and wilderness rescue, and has extensive knowledge in land-mapping and navigation.

Daniel has participated in adventure competitions all over the world including the Fiji Eco Challenge 2002, Mexico 2005 Caribbean Expedition, World Rafting Championships: Czech Republic 2002, Ecuador 2005, and AR 2010 Costa Rica International Championship. He loves to spend his free time with his family which is an adventure in itself!
