Growing up, David’s definition of biking meant navigating the streets of New York City on two wheels. Though he grew up a biker, David became a cyclist in his late teens on a family tour through the Irish countryside. This love affair led him to tour the Southwestern United States by bike and ultimately move to Sonoma County in 2015 to focus on guiding in the area.
To this day, there is no place David loves riding more than Sonoma. He finds it immensely gratifying to share it with other people—the rich cultural history, the diverse and unforgettable landscapes, and the remarkable food and wine that comes from it. “I’m not saying you shouldn’t go to Europe,” says David. “Just don’t forget to come to Northern California too!”
