After 35 years working in the oil industry, David recently left the corporate world behind to become a guide in Scotland. David’s past career often took him overseas, which he took as an opportunity to explore the world by bike in France, Denmark, South Texas, the Netherlands, and Qatar. Now retired, David spends as much time as possible riding for fun. You can find him solo exploring the many miles of coastal roads, gravel paths, and hill climbs that his home country of Scotland has to offer, or sharing the adventure with his friends. David lives by the sentiment that there is always another hill to climb, another coffee to savor, and many more memories to make. You’ve heard of ‘type 2 fun,’ right? Ask David, the next time you see him—he’ll be sure to fill you in!
