Born in French-speaking Lausanne, Switzerland, Davide moved to Salento in Italy’s Puglia region with his Italian parents at age of 7 and spent the next 11 years immersed in Italian culture. He returned to Lausanne before deciding to move to Perth, Scotland to work in the catering and restaurant trade. He often shared recipes from his childhood, learned from his Italian mother. Most recently, his greatest loves are biking, cuisine, and sharing the pleasures of Puglia with a wider audience. There are not many regions in Italy where you can hear an Italian speaking English with a Scottish accent—and that’s the fun of it!
