Emilio was born in Santander surrounded by green mountains. As a boy, cycling was one of his passions and he developed a love for nature between Vivero, Galicia and Picos de Europa. He played basketball and went on to coach boys’ basketball as well. Emilio studied law and had a 31-year-long professional career as a M&A Lawyer. Eventually, Emilio decided enough was enough and chose to embark on something new that followed his passions.

Emilio is very proud of his two sons who he adores and who recently started university. The word that best describes Emilio is passion: for meeting people, traveling, cooking, skiing all winter long, cycling, eating yummy sandwiches (preferably with amazing bread, Iberian ham, olive oil, tomato, and tangy cheese at the top of Tourmalet or Hourquette d’Ancizan). Above all, Emilio is passionate about giving his guests the best experience possible and exposing them to local food or memorable moments like a swim at an amazing hidden beach.
