Born in California to an Argentine family but having lived equally in both countries, studied in California, Florence, and Canada, and now living in Belgium after traveling to 34 countries, Emmanuel normally responds “Galaxy 19” when asked “Where are you from?” His travel bug began with his parents, but was permanently instilled on a solo cycling trip from Alaska to Argentina when he was only 18—pre-Google maps and GPS.

Now based in Brussels since 2012, Emmanuel spends his guiding season meeting people in Europe and the off season creating custom children’s bicycles in his art loft in Brussels. A natural storyteller and lover of languages (he speaks five-ish), he prides himself on being able to tell a great story at any one-word prompt.
