Francesco was born in Recanati, Italy, known for being the hometown of the famous Italian poet, Giacomo Leopardi. He studied Biology and Evolution at the University of Bologna in Italy and in Granada, Spain. He then decided to work and study around Europe and South America where he visited Spain, England, Malta, and Ecuador. His passion for cycling was formed at university and since then he has always found the time to go biking, whether he’s alone or with friends, out for a day ride, or bikepacking for a whole month. In 2019 he became an official cycling guide of Italy’s Marche Region and started creating new cycling routes in Italy. Francesco is passionate about nature and environmental sustainability and loves making wildlife videos and talking about nature along the trail. His biggest goal is to give people the opportunity to explore Italy’s hidden gems and have incredible and unforgettable adventures. Francesco loves working for Duvine because it feels like a big family united by their passion for cycling.
