Growing up in the Boston area, Josh always had a fascination with bikes. He bought his first road bike at 14 so he could participate in a multi-day charity bike ride with his dad. From there, he explored the great riding around the Bay State and eventually in Vermont, where he attended college. While a brief stint as a congressional aide offered a path into politics, he felt a different calling. Since 2015, Josh has worked as a guide on foot, river raft, and—of course—by bike to show travelers the beauty of the Southwest, California, and New Zealand. He now lives in Southern California. Josh firmly believes that the competitive advantage of the U.S. is its natural areas, and gets a huge lift from seeing the excitement of guests when they encounter the raw beauty and history this country has to offer.
