Welcome to Chile
Your guides will meet you either at your hotel or the Santiago Airport. We’ll head out to the Casablanca Valley, stopping at the biodynamic Emiliana Winery for a tour and tasting. After a bike fitting, safety talk, and map review we’ll cycle along the quiet roads of this new Chilean wine valley to El Cuadro Winery. Enjoy lunch with a wine tasting amongst the beautiful Chilean countryside. Pedal through the surrounding vineyards before a transfer to the famous boutique winery and century-old estancia, La Casona at Matetic. Tonight we’ll enjoy our introduction to Chilean’s renowned cuisine with a dinner at the hotel’s excellent restaurant, Equilibrio.

Valle de Rosario
Start the day pedaling through the enclosed valley of the Rosario Abajo, observing the vibrant red soil found in the hillsides. Take in the surroundings of the vineyard’s well-manicured landscape as we approach the beautifully designed Matetic Wine Cellar. Enjoy a private lunch overlooking the panoramic views of the Chilean campo or countryside. After lunch we’ll hop back on our bikes and start cycling along the foothills of the Rosario Arriba, making our way back to the Casona. Tonight’s dinner is focused on local and fresh ingredients paired with Matetic wines.

Colchagua: Blending Wine
After a delightful breakfast, we’ll transfer to the Colchagua Valley, Chile’s top wine producing region. We’ll enjoy a light lunch at Viña la Playa Winery before beginning our tour of the valley. Enjoy some gentle cycling past notable bodegas: Estampa, Los Vascos, Viña Siegel, and more. Our next stop is MontGras winery where we’ll create our own wine. Blend, bottle, cork, and voila! We’ll continue cycling along the Estero Guirivilo before reaching our next boutique accommodations at the rustic-chic Noi Blend hotel. Enjoy the evening on your own, choose to dine at the hotels excellent restaurant or take a ride into Santa Cruz for a meal in town.

Apalta Valley Ride
Today we’ll transfer to the small lush valley of Apalta, home to some of the best red wines in Chile. The microclimate and terroir in this region produce world-class grapes for world-class wine. Bike from the start of the valley on a small road toward the Tinguiririca River and up into the beautiful Apalta Valley where the oldest vines of the Colchagua region are located. Here we’ll do a short visit to the Neyen de Apalta winery and continue to the spectacular Lapostolle Vineyard where lunch awaits, paired with the vineyard’s impeccable wines. Tonight we’ll take you out for a dinner at one of our favorites: Vino Bello.

The ‘Place of Gold’, Millahue Valley
After a scrumptious breakfast, we’ll cycle out of the Colchagua Valley, stopping at the beautiful Chilean history and culture museum, El Huique. Then ride along quite roads and under the Arboleda Almahue, a long stretch of road decorated by a canopy of trees. We’ll pass sleepy farm villages flanked by the Estero Zamorano dotted with wooden water mills. After lunch, opt for a visit of the grand Viña Vik property or choose to relax and enjoy the hotel’s spa. We’ll regroup in the evening for a tasting of Vik’s premium blended Bordeaux-style wines followed by an exquisite final dinner at the hotel.

This morning, enjoy breakfast and your final moments in the Colchagua Valley. Then we’re off to Santiago where your guides will bid farewell and drop you at your hotel or transfer you to the airport where you can embark on your next adventure.
