Andro was 16 years old and playing tennis professionally when he gradually began to sneak out and spend more time on his mountain bike, becoming addicted to the thrills of a true downhill. While studying Economics at the University in Zagreb, his curiosity was piqued by the differences in people’s lifestyles, cultures, and perspectives (and the differences between true Mediterranean food and Continental cuisine). His observations about what made people tick continued to develop while he worked winters in Austria as a ski instructor, eventually leading him to the travel industry.

Although always ready to head to a new part of the world, Andro loves coming home to Croatia—specifically Dalmatia, the country’s coastal area. When he’s not guiding bike tours, he’s windsurfing and looking for ways to share his homeland’s many beauties.
