Samuel started cycling in 1998, practicing mountain biking in the mountainous region where he has lived since he was born: Peneda-Gerês, Portugal’s only National Park. For many years, he worked in the world of finance while also making time to guide on mountain trails. Samuel has a great passion for the outdoors and an insatiable curiosity about the world of wine. He loves Portugal and is immensely proud to share his country.
