Ottauquechee River Loop
Your guides will greet you upon arrival in Woodstock and begin with a bike fitting and safety talk. Our first spin in the Green Mountain State takes us on wooded roads dappled with sunlight streaming through colorful canopies of leaves. Stop in Quechee to watch the glass-blowers at work at Simon Pearce and enjoy lunch here overlooking the falls. Then complete the loop cycling along the Ottauquechee River, passing the historic Taftsville Covered Bridge before making our way back into Woodstock. Tonight we’ll head to our favorite restaurant in a local farmhouse that embodies Vermont’s booming food scene.

We’ll sample delicious cheeses from the Plymouth Cheese Factory, one of the oldest in the country. Then hop back on the bikes and start the scenic ride towards Bridgewater. As we slowly descend toward the Ottauquechee River, the views seem to get better and better.
