  • Day 1

    Ottauquechee River Loop

    Your guides will greet you upon your arrival in Woodstock with refreshments before delving into an exciting plan for the following days. After a bike fitting and safety talk, you’ll depart on your first scenic ride of the week. This takes you along wooded roads where rays of sunlight stream through the canopy overhead creating a colorful hue. You’ll ride along the Ottauquechee River, past the historic Taftsville Covered Bridge to Sugar Bush Farms for a maple syrup tour and tasting! We’ll enjoy the beautiful loop that takes us back into Woodstock where you’ll have your first delicious meal with the group in our favorite restaurant in town.

  • Day 2

    Long Trail Loop

    After a hearty breakfast we’ll begin our ride west out of Woodstock towards Bridgewater, home of the state’s most well known brewery, Long Trail. Take a tour and sample some of the many different style brews offered in the Visitor Center inspired by the Hofbrau House in Munich, Germany. After the visit we’ll descend along the Coolidge State Forest. Cool-off in Echo Lake or just relax as we enjoy a gourmet picnic prepared by your guide. Heading back to the hotel, we’ll pass through South Woodstock’s Historic District to admire its traditional appeal before another delicious meal in the heart of Woodstock.

  • Day 3

    Hidden Farm Loop

    After a reenergizing breakfast we’ll head off southwards for another stellar day. Today’s ride brings us along rolling hills and off the beaten track by sleepy farms and babbling brooks. After we’ve covered most of our route we’ll be treated to a great lunch at the local’s favorite, Skunk Hollow Tavern. Their famous house burger might be just what you need to finish the ride. From here you can continue on riding or opt to hop in the van and head back to the hotel for some time to enjoy the grounds and explore the town. Tonight we head back towards Quechee, where you can shop for crafts, antiques, pottery, and watch the glassblowing at Simon Pearce Glassworks, where we’ll also be enjoying dinner.

  • Day 4

    South Woodstock Farm Ride

    After your final breakfast in the region you may want to join the guide for a short scenic loop ride to seal your memories with a little leaf peeping! The morning light is always the best for these types of photos. Spin leisurely back to the hotel to pack up and bid your farewell to this beautiful corner of the world.
