Born in Izmir (Ancient Smyrna) in 1988, Deniz has followed a diverse journey from being a professional actor to a tour guide. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Theater Arts at Ankara University and performed in state theaters and TV series. Deniz also taught drama and rhythm to children as a volunteer. After finishing his acting career in 2018, he studied English in Alexandria, VA, then road tripped across the country from Alexandria to San Francisco. He is an active percussion artist and plays drums with his band. Living near the Mediterranean and Taurus Mountains, he bikes, swims, runs marathons, and studies the history of the region.
