Oregon born, California raised. After high school, I spent a few years snowboarding in Lake Tahoe, until injuries and sports rehab led to an obsession for cycling. I completed a degree in graphic design in Seattle before returning to live in California. In college I spent my time working in the fine dining & hospitality industries, as well as a freelance artist. I gained an incredible passion for food and culture, which inspires many of my travels. From cycling the Pacific Coast Highway, to back-packing through Central and South America, wandering through Southeast Asia, to living in Europe. Adventure and curiosity have always paved the way. For the past few years I’ve been lucky enough to split my time living between Sacramento and Barcelona. However, California’s beautiful outdoors will always be home. Nothing beats camping in the redwoods or the smell of the Pacific Ocean breeze in the morning, (I’ll settle for a nice Alboriño on a Spanish terraza as well).
